SOME CLUBS AND THEIR STRUCTURES

In Pelotas, there are several social and sport clubs that offer many options for leisure activities and sport practices.
DUNAS CLUB Swimming, tennis, soccer, paddle, squash, a large ball-room and barbecue places. There is a gymnasium with sport court and golf field.
BRILHANTE CLUB It has a heated swimming pool and a cold one, it offers tennis courts, rooms for gymnastics and body building, sport gymnasium, bowling, and playground.
CAMPESTRE CLUB It offers golf course, paddle, soccer and tennis.
DIAMANTINOS CLUB Located downtown, it offers gymnastics, body building and swimming in heated pool.
PARQUE TÊNIS CLUB It has swimming pools, soccer field, tennis courts, a large ball-room and barbecue places.
PARQUE ESPORTIVO GONZAGA It offers 01 Olympic pool, soccer field, tennis court and bocce. It has a ball-room and barbecue places.
COMERCIAL CLUB It has special rooms for reading, snooker, chess, backgammon and bridge. It holds cultural activities such as “Reading Workshop” and the rehearsals of the “Princesa do Sul Artistic Chorus”.
CAIXEIRAL CLUB In the country club-house there are 02 pools, 03 courts: soccer, beach volleyball and basketball. In downtown club-house there is an academy for body building.


ETHNIC CLUBS
FICA AHÍ PRÁ IR DIZENDO CLUB An Afro ethnic club, it offers ball-room and promotes special parties of the Afro Brazilian culture.
SOCIEDADE LIBANESA It has a swimming pool, a court for tennis and soccer and a ball-room.
SOCIEDADE ISRAELITA DE PELOTAS It has a ball-room with barbecue places, where it promotes public parties and especial ones of the Israel culture. It also offers a library, a synagogue and a Jewish graveyard.
SOCIEDADE ITALIANA It offers a large library, courses of the Italian language and culture, chorus and dance.
SOCIEDADE 15 DE JULHO A German ethnic club, it has 02 pools, 01 soccer field and 02 indoor soccer courts.
CENTRO PORTUGUÊS It has one club-house in the city and two in the country, offering ball rooms, pools, paddle, basketball, tennis, volleyball, bocce,indoor soccer, soccer, skating, game rooms, green area and fishing.

PARK OF SESI STADIUM
Park of SESI stadium is made of a Soccer field, an Track and Field track and sectors of jumping and throwing (officials). Benches for 3 thousand people, 04 dressing-rooms, 02 restrooms, 01 dressing-room for referees, snack bar and parking lot.

The stadium has illumination towers which allow the realization of games and events at night.

HIPPODROME
The Hippodrome of Tablada is the biggest one of the interior of Brazil. The Great Prize “Princesa do Sul” occurs every year. It is a traditional turf event in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

EQUESTRIAN CENTER OF LARANJAL - CELA
The place offers horseback riding and accommodation for these animals. Furthermore, it is possible to visit the Center and get to know more about the life of the horses and how to deal with them as well as their basic necessities.

WATER SPORTS
Pelotas has one of the best places for water sports practice.

It counts on four nautical clubs that offer competitions in the categories Optimistic to Laser, as well as competitions with oceanic sailing boats.
In the windsurf practice, it is outstanding the school and keeper Pro Wind with enough room for 200 armed sails   and individual box for 150 boards. The growth of this sport in Pelotas has already given origin to regattas included in the calendars and to a better infrastructure.
